Blue Door Property consists of three buildings. Set back from the approach street, you first see the side of the single-floor building (1) with its flat roof terrace and the end of the two-story building (2). A central courtyard provides access to both buildings and a guestroom with a cistern (3). Entry from the main street leads directly into the private central courtyard, from which both buildings can be accessed.
The first building comprises one floor, with an open-plan kitchen, a dining room, and a sitting room. One door leads to the courtyard and there is a door across the covered entrance to the ground floor of the second building.
The second building comprises two floors. The ground floor features a spacious master bedroom suite, including a large bedroom that leads to a dressing room, a utility room, and a sizable shower room. From the entrance courtyard, you can reach the second floor via steps or a hydraulic lift. Once there, a landing leads to three rooms: the second bedroom, the family shower room, and the sitting room. The only access to the glorious roof terrace is from the second-floor living room.
The third building, situated above the freshwater cistern, is a raised single-floor structure. It houses the third bedroom, with both a double and a single bed. It is open to the rafters with the wellhead located within the room. This area is the only part of the property that is not wheelchair accessible.

Observations
I was impressed with how easy it is to move around. There are no awkward corners or small floor height changes to trip over. Combined with natural light and well-proportioned rooms with wide doorways, the seamless flow from one area to another is delightful.
The hydraulic lift from the courtyard to the top floor is discreetly positioned in the corner, making it practically invisible. Aside from providing excellent access, it’s convenient as you don’t need to carry suitcases or furniture up and down the external stairs.
I was very impressed with the thoughtful renovation that ensures accessibility, not only for wheelchair users but also for able-bodied individuals like myself. As I’ve gotten older and don’t move as easily as I used to, I appreciate how easy it is to navigate this space.
In addition, this luxurious Spetses home already enjoys an excellent rental income.
