Marianne Memories is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, far away from the town and the noise that comes from the port. On windy days, if it’s blowing from the north, you may hear the Cathedral bells chime the hour, but only faintly in the background.

This prestigious real estate for sale is set above Andreas Miaoulis Street connecting Hydra Town to Kala Pigadi. It’s a wide street that is occasionally used by trucks, walkers, hikers, mules, and horses. The neighbors are a good mix of full-time Hydriot and expat residents with a small number of holiday home rentals close by. The Angelika and Miranda hotels are nearest to the property.

Throughout the year, you will see parades for Epiphany in January and Patron Saint’s Day in November. In early April, the road is part of the course for the Hydra Trails Event. However, because the property is set back from the road, you might not hear the participants. To watch the parades go by, you will need to come down to the street entrance door.

There are two entrances from the boundary of this property. The first entrance is from the main street below. Once inside, steps wind up through the garden to the buildings. On both sides of the steps, there are sturdy walls. Considering the elderly and the need to carry shopping, it might be wise to apply for a permit to install a chair lift.

The second street entrance is at the top of this luxurious property. It opens between a top-floor terrace and a vegetable garden, allowing mule deliveries to bring large furniture or bulk shopping supplies directly into the property.
