Mandraki Bay is a popular destination for boats and yachts as well as a big draw to holiday-makers during the summer. However, it is a quiet residential area that is home to a surprising number of year-round homeowners. Because the area is outside the rules of the main town planning rules, they are slightly different in Mandraki. All of the houses have very large plots and so it feels much more spacious and more private.
Immediately below the Waterfront Mandraki Villa for sale, there is the increasingly popular taverna on the small beach in the bay. The house is set back and up from the road to just enough to not hear more than happy chatting and laughter in the background. And of course, it only takes minutes to cross the street to have a quick swim or have a meal.

Getting back and forth between Hydra harbour and Mandraki comes with options. You can walk the level coast road for 2 kilometers, or call a sea taxi to collect you from the small beach jetty, or during the summer season you can hope off the regular beach boats (Hydra's version of buses).
